Creation of the massive CarStore at Braehead in Glasgow is nearing completion.

The new facility for quality pre-owned cars will cover six acres stretching across 70,000 square feet. It is due to open in December and will be the Group’s eleventh retail site in Scotland. Work on the site, which has lasted 14 weeks, has all but been completed, on time and on schedule, by Glasgow-based construction business, CBC Ltd.

Chief executive Peter Vardy said: “We are very pleased with our state-of-the-art CarStore and can’t wait for December to get trading. We are also very grateful to CBC for their expertise in providing us with a first rate facility. “The CarStore is designed to be a destination dealership, where people can take their time in comfortable surroundings to find the car of their dreams.” In the new CarStore, car buyers will be able to choose from more than 400 cars, all displayed indoors in a heated showroom and priced realistically at between £2,999 and £29,999.
